An Epic Family Adventure for these Times of Great Change

On a mountain of trash

Juno lives without fear

In her shack made of garbage

In a land we call Here.

THE SHOW

Galapagos is a celebratory live performance show created for (and with) young people and their families in these times of great change.

This is visually and musically vibrant ensemble theatre that tells the tale of a creatively gifted orphan, Juno, who defies the very darkest forces of a mechanised world with nothing but a group of unlikely friends and the power of her imagination.

Can she outsmart Boom Corporation? Tackle the Tangle? Prove Humanity is worthy of Nature’s love? And steer her boat of old books through storms in time to reach Galapagos?

GET ON BOARD!

INTERNATIONAL

This extraordinary show will hit stages across the world from 2025. It is already alive and being enriched in collaborative, devising projects internationally as young people explore the story world of Galapagos and use their imagination to navigate its challenges.

Help bring this epic story to the world

JUNO’S ARCK

The show’s impact is amplified by a multi-platform approach that allows young people around the world to experience the GALAPAGOS effect through transmedia, apps, books and education.

The show is embedded in a innovative learning venture Juno’s Arck that’s designed to give young people – leaders of the future – access to the vital creativity that is at the heart of the story. It’s a space to play with problems because, well, this is all too important to take seriously.

ENSEMBLE

GALAPAGOS is a project championing the vital role for arts in the planetary emergency, powered by a distinguished team of creatives who are concerned by what they see and want to share what they know.

At its heart is a long-time creative friendship between its co-writers, the legendary theatre maker David Glass and leading creative pioneer, David Pearl.

To manifest this ambitious, uplifting project we are partnering with a growing network of artists, individuals, NGOs, businesses and foundations around the world.

STOP PRESS - Eco-Heroes Get On Board.

Juno’s misfit crew of imagined animals are not like any creatures you’ve ever seen. So when it came to naming them we turned to some of the world’s most inventive Eco-Creatives for inspiration. Deep thanks to you Dame Jane Goodall, Tim Smit, Satish Kumar, Isabella Tree, George Monbiot and Merlin Sheldrake for so kindly lending your names to our characters. Prepare for some serious creative mischief!

Let’s Go Wild!

Because we believe if Nature had a job, she’d be an Artist we are seeking to learn from the more-than-human world in every aspect of this project. That means reinventing how we nurture the show, seed partnerships, grow audiences and harvest funding.

If ‘rewilding theatre’ resonates with you and you’d like to play a part, do get in touch. There’s a place on this Arck for us all!
